Howard Tiano is a Performer-Songwriter-Producer, with a music industry career that stretches back to the days when vinyl was king! His passion for music was ignited as a teen, and he never looked back.
While honing his performing skills, he began to write songs and perform them in the bands he was in.
When Howard and his bandmates decided to make a "professional" recording of one of his songs, they booked the studio time, donned ties and jackets, piled into dad's station wagon and off they went.
"We were so excited, we thought we recorded a hit!" So right after finishing they looked up a nearby record company, piled back into the wagon and played the song for the owner. He offered to buy the song on the spot!
They declined...they wanted to be the band to have the hit... ;)

Nothing can describe the thrill of hearing your song on the radio for the first time.
"I had a friend who worked as a DJ at a college radio station, who agreed to play the song on the station. It was 2 am, and I dragged my whole family out of bed to hear it! From then on, I was hooked on songwriting!"
Soon others began to hear his music, word got out, and other artists began to record his songs. (You can see a sampling of those efforts in the graphics below.)
With many songs published and recorded, he has written songs in various genres, specializing in Rock, Pop, Country, and Dance.
Songwriting is a collaborative process: the best results come with input and feedback from others.

So How Does This Work?
- First you would schedule your free consultation over Zoom.
- If we decide to move forward, I'll send you to an online questionnaire to fill out, going more in depth on your message and story.
- Then we would schedule a Zoom meeting, go over your responses and further discuss the song direction, style, etc.
- After about 5-7 days I will have a rough draft of the song and perform it with guitar and vocal for you live over Zoom.
- You can give me any feedback and revisions at that point.
- About 10 days later I will "reveal" the final production over Zoom!
- You would get a full-length (2-5 min.) radio-ready custom song in mp3 and/or CD format.

Best thing is to fill out the form and schedule a Zoom (video) consultation.
Around 3-4 weeks, give or take. If you need it any sooner we will work to accommodate, rush charge may apply.
Absolutely! I would be happy to perform your song live. Any travel would be additional costs.
This is not a "work for hire" scenario. I would own all copyrights to the song. You can use it however you choose, short of selling any recording. If you were interested in co-ownership, we can discuss that.
- The song can be performed live at your event (travel additional)
- We can create a plaque with the song lyrics engraved
- We can create a music video of the song with photos you provide including lyrics.
All these options would cost extra.
